1. Purpose & Scope
This policy explains how customers may return products purchased from AK BEAUTY & SPORT an online retailer established in the Republic of Ireland and shipping exclusively to Ireland and Poland. It forms part of our general Terms and Conditions and applies to all purchases of clothing and sports-performance wear made through our e-commerce platform.
Important: Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU) or the Irish Consumer Rights Act 2022.
RETURN ADDRESS
Please do not send returns to the registered office; always use the dedicated Returns Address supplied in your online Return Questionnaire THAT WE will send.
2. 14-Day Right of Withdrawal
You have 14 calendar days from the day you receive your order to inform us (see §4) that you wish to withdraw from the contract and receive a refund.
You then have another 14 days to return the goods to us.
If multiple items in the same order are delivered on different days, the 14-day period starts on the day the last item is delivered.
3. Eligibility Criteria
Returns will be accepted provided that the item(s):
- Are unworn, unwashed, and free of odours.
- Have all original swing tags and brand labels attached.
- Are returned in the original packaging (polybag or box) or a suitable equivalent.
- Are accompanied by a valid order confirmation or receipt.
Non-returnable items
- Custom-printed/monogrammed teamwear
- Face coverings, socks, base-layer underwear & sports bras once hygiene seals are broken
- Any item marked “Final Sale” at the time of purchase
4. How to Initiate a Return
Email info@akbeauty.ie within 14 days of delivery, quoting:
- Order number
- Item(s) you wish to return
- Reason for return (optional)
We will issue a Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA) number and the return address.
- Pack the item securely. Clearly write the RMA number on the outside of the parcel.
- Send the parcel using a tracked postal or courier service and keep the proof of postage.

Customers in Poland may use the same address or, where offered, our authorised Polish returns hub (details provided in your RMA email).
5. Return Shipping Costs
- Faulty, damaged or incorrectly shipped items: we will email you a prepaid label or reimburse reasonable return postage.
- All other returns (change of mind, wrong size, etc.): the customer is responsible for return shipping costs. We recommend purchasing shipping insurance for high-value items.
6. Refund Processing
Refunds are issued within 14 days of (a) our receipt of the returned goods or (b) you providing evidence of having sent them back — whichever is earlier.
We will refund the original purchase price, including the initial outbound delivery charge (standard service), via the original payment method.
Refunds are made in EUR (€). If you paid in PLN, your bank or card issuer will apply its own exchange rate and may charge fees; we are not responsible for currency differences.
If an item shows signs of use or damage beyond necessary handling to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning, we may deduct an amount reflecting the loss in value.
7. Exchanges
We do not offer straight exchanges. Instead, please follow the return process for a refund and place a new order for the desired item/size.
8. Faulty or Damaged Goods
Please inspect your order upon delivery and contact us within 48 hours if an item is defective, damaged, or incorrect. Attach clear photographs to your email so we can resolve the issue promptly.
9. Late or Missing Refunds
If you have not received a refund yet:
- Check your bank or credit-card account again.
- Contact your payment provider; processing times vary.
- If you have done all of this and still have not received your refund, please email info@akbeauty.ie.
10. Promotional Bundles & Gift Returns
- If a promotional bundle is returned partially, the refund will be adjusted to reflect the full price of items kept.
- Gift items are refunded to the original purchaser; we cannot refund to the gift recipient.
11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
Contracts formed under this policy are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ireland. Disputes may be submitted to the European Commission’s ODR Platform or the Irish courts.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may amend this policy from time to time. The version showing on our website at the time your order is placed will apply to that purchase.
